Organizing a golf event is no easy task. From preparation, to execution, to post-event critique, there is a lot to handle. But by keeping an open line of communication and working together, event planners and course pros can run efficient, seamless outings.
Of course, as with any event, proper planning begins in the developing stages. Between staying on schedule and accommodating the golfers—all of whom seem to show up at the same time—the event’s game plan quickly can become hectic for the planner, points out Brenda Winch, administrative assistant of Winnipeg School Division, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
