Today on Fox News John Cornyn stated he will vote no on Bernanke’s confirmation to remain Fed Reserve Chairman — for the wrong reason. Cornyn starts off by saying Bernanke is a brilliant man and that he has done a good job but more transparency is needed from the Fed.

Here’s my take… after spending 6 hours with the MOST BRILLIANT ECONOMISTS IN THE LAND yesterday at the Mises Circle in Houston, Texas, Bernanke is the biggest boob in the game. Cornyn is only voting NO on Bernanke in order to get re-elected in 2012. He sees the writing on the wall and true conservatives in Texas will defeat conservative posers in every election for years to come.

He should be helping Ron Paul (I know he is in the House) get his End the Fed bill [HR 1207] to the floor in both houses of Congress. That will solidify his re-election. Question: Is Cornyn a neo-con?
