The Texan was a project of mine during my father’s battle with cancer in 2007 and 2008 for Mount Enterprise. Since then The Texan has expanded on its own to include more regional and state wide issues. In early 2009, my partner, Claudia P. Ramirez and I discussed publishing another monthly focusing on health and fitness. East Texas Health & Fitness – www.ETHFM.com – was born online and then sputtered because of my lack of attention. Then in July, I was approached by some of my readers about expanding the reach of The Texan to the rest of Rusk County.

On August 29th, my late father’s birthday, The Texan will be distributed to all the good people of Rusk County and some points beyond in my circle of influence. The Texan will focus not on ‘news’ and past events but progress, forward thinking issues and enhancing everyone’s life who reads The Texan.

The Texan is supported by advertisers across the state and subscribers who want the truth about politics and personal economics. You can subscribe to The Texan at www.TheTexanOnline.com. You can also download the latest issue of The Texan in pdf.

The Texan would not be possible without its partners and supporters. To display your business, non-profit or organization complete the form below. Display advertising and advertorials start at just $35 per issue.
